Who We Are - GATHER PLACE
Gather Place Museum: now a Trail Friendly Destination!
Gather Place Museum is an official Delaware & Lehigh (D&L) National Heritage Corridor Trail Friendly Business program affiliate. The D&L highlights local businesses and organizations like ours that provide support and cater to the needs of walkers, runners, hikers, and bikers using the D&L Trail.
Our Approach
At Gather Place Museum, we have created a welcoming atmosphere for outdoor enthusiasts with newly installed outdoor amenities that are easily accessible just a few sidewalk steps from our property. These include a bench, bike rack, bike repair/pumping station, water fountain, and picnic table with an umbrella. Our space is functional, serene, and green, adorned with shrubs and flowers. This project was completed in partnership with the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor, Inc. Funding was provided in part by the National Park Service and the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and administered by the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor, Inc.
